One partner for customs and transport
Many importers clear the goods with one company and then look for a carrier — losing time, re-sending documents and paying for waiting days at the port or airport. Medrom removes that gap: the same team that lodges the customs declaration books the truck, prepares the transport documents and follows the shipment until delivery. If the goods are held for inspection or the release is delayed, the transport is re-planned by people who already know the file.
We do not operate a fleet of our own. We work with several trusted transport partners, selected and used regularly on the routes we serve, which lets us match each shipment to the right vehicle and price — a full truck, a groupage slot or a van — and to organise transport anywhere in Europe, not only in Romania.
Where we deliver from and to
- From Constanța Port — containers and LCL cargo cleared at Constanța North or Constanța South–Agigea, or stored in our warehouse in the Free Zone, delivered to any address in Romania or in Europe.
- From Bucharest–Otopeni — air freight cleared by our Otopeni office, delivered directly from the airport or from our customs warehouse in Bucharest.
- From our warehouses — staged deliveries from the Constanța South Free Zone or from Bucharest, as your stock is sold or called off.
- Anywhere in Europe — through our partner network we organise road transport to and from other EU countries and beyond, including the customs formalities at each end where they apply.
Transport options
- Full truck load (FTL) — a dedicated vehicle for full containers, pallets or project cargo.
- Less than truck load (LTL) and groupage — pallets and part loads consolidated with other shipments, for a better price on smaller volumes.
- Van and door-to-door — parcels and small consignments, including deliveries to individuals.
- Container haulage — transport of the full container from the terminal to the consignee and return of the empty container to the port.
For companies and for individuals
Our inland delivery service is used by importers, distributors and manufacturers, but also by individuals who receive a shipment from outside the EU — personal effects, a vehicle, equipment or a one-off purchase — and need someone to handle both the customs formalities and the delivery to their door. We explain what documents are needed, what duties and VAT apply and how the goods will travel, so there are no surprises on arrival.
How the operation runs
- You tell us what is arriving or leaving, where it is and where it must go, with the commercial and transport documents.
- We confirm the customs formalities needed and propose the transport option and price.
- We clear the goods (or coordinate with the customs office of departure) and book the vehicle with the partner best suited to the route.
- We follow the transport and keep you informed until the goods are delivered and signed for.
- You receive the customs and transport documents for your records.

Do you deliver only in Romania?
No. Through our network of trusted transport partners we organise deliveries anywhere in Europe, as well as to any address in Romania.
Do you have your own trucks?
We work with several trusted transport partners rather than operating our own fleet. This lets us choose the right vehicle for each shipment — full truck, groupage or van — on every route.
Can I use the delivery service without customs clearance?
Our strength is combining the two, but we can also organise transport for goods already cleared or moving within the EU. Write to us with the details.
Do you deliver to individuals?
Yes. We handle customs formalities and door-to-door delivery for individuals as well as for companies.
Can you return the empty container to the port?
Yes — container haulage includes delivery of the full container to the consignee and return of the empty container to the terminal.
